How Many Fridays Until Christmas?

How many Fridays are left until Christmas?

For many people, Friday marks the end of the work or school week, so it is a natural way to picture the wait for Christmas. A total of Fridays can feel more useful than a long stretch of calendar days, especially when most decorating, shopping and visiting happens over the weekend.

Look through the Friday dates and give each one a purpose. One might be the night you put up decorations, another the deadline for sending cards, and the last one a chance to check travel plans before Christmas.

Plan the run-up one Friday at a time

The counter includes every Friday from today's date through Christmas Day. If today is Friday, it is part of the count. Christmas Day is also included whenever it falls on a Friday. The result is based on your device's local date and changes at midnight. After Christmas begins, the page starts counting Fridays toward next Christmas.
